COMPUTER STUDIES
We recognise the importance of Information Technology in the school. All students are given the opportunity to acquire their ECDL (European Computer
Driving Licence) before they leave school. Our well equipped rooms have a wide range of computer and information technology resources. Modern hardware, software and computer presentation technology are used by students when doing reports and projects.
CAREER GUIDANCE / COUNSELLING
This is a central part of the schools service to all our students. Young people have to make important decisions about subject choice, career paths etc. at a very early stage in their school lives. We have a fully qualified Guidance Counsellor available to students. Here, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and in complete confidence, pupils are advised and guided on future career plans and can discuss any matter causing concern.
In this context we are pleased to note that in recent years, our students have gone on to distinguish themselves in a variety of areas including University, Institutes of Technology, Teacher Training, Banking, Catering, Secretarial, Apprenticeships, as well as in the area of further training.
